We have hazelnuts! Not a lot – only a half-dozen that I can see – but I was starting to wonder if we’d ever see any. Our bushes are about five years old, two and a half in their current location, and I was thinking maybe the male plant I bought was actually a female. I hope the squirrels save at least one for us to eat.
There was a six-inch, bright green dragonfly with matte-silver eyes, beautiful resting deep in the leaves of a tomato plant.
