25°C (77°F) The mosquitos made it out in force today – in sun, in shade, all day – soft clouds bobbing and weaving around heads, arms and legs. Maddening. Ineffectual slapping. I retreated, defeated behind our screened porch.
The rain held off until this morning, when thunder and a soaking downpour passed through. We’re on the tail end of it now, an hour and a half later. It came just in time to keep me from having to water everything.
