Cloudy; Light Freezing Rain
-4°C (24.8°F) Clouds came gradually, grey ghosts in the vanguard. Massed sheets followed, obliterating the sun, then removing any traces of gold from the daylight. We were left with a frosty pallor that seemed part of the air itself. It clung thicker between clumps of twigs, super-saturated, until it finally became too much, precipitating out in snow, rain and sleet.

But now it wavers, from snow to rain to frosty haze and back again.
