9°C (48.2°F) I went for a walk this afternoon. It was a curious mix of warm sun and chilly air, musty soil and motionless trees. Life has begun to bubble up from the ground, but the treetops are still frozen in winter.
Late winter/early spring in Minnesota is a time of wavering while the sun continues its long march up the sky. It can be an agonizing wait, but we’re already over 10 hours of sunlight. I’ll need to remember that as I shovel 6 inches of wet snow tomorrow.
-2°C (28.4°F) Tomorrow we’re expecting snow, but today is still sunny and warm.
