Back from my ride. It’s almost like late spring. A few flowers have started to bud and bloom again. But the best part of the ride was feeling the vitality of a big city from eye level, at human speed. We sure are an active bunch, we humans.
Drenched in fog today, swimming through clouds. And a balmy 57 degrees, to boot. I’m going for a little bike ride this morning.
The warmth and the moisture feels strange – a little unsettling, even. I was grateful for the extra time to get my fall gardening chores done, but now that I’m done I’m feeling in limbo – not quite winter, no longer fall, just stuck in between.
