Stargazing. We’re fickle stargazers - we like it warm and clear,
which makes it all too rare for us, especially during the winter.
Last Christmas we gave ourselves a great book for stargazing: H. A. Rey’s
The Stars: A New Way to See Them, but we haven’t really used it much since then.

So tonight it was a pleasure to look up into the sky and know what I
was seeing for the first time in years.
Gemini -
Castor and Pollux, the
Charioteer
and the brightest star in the sky, blue-white
Sirius.

While we looked skyward, I heard the first frog of the season -
then two.
