Sudden cold. After 31 degrees yesterday, it was 6 below zero this morning.
Even so it didn’t feel cold, not cold to your bones, anyway, only a
biting on the skin.
In these long days of cold, no snow and little light, I wish I
could be more like our geranium. Neglected in the basement, with only
a few hours of light a day, and water only when I remember, it
blooms like an orchid.
