A tad warmer, about 9 degrees already, and mostly sunny again. But it has
been cold enough to freeze over the Mississippi. I drove over it today,
smooth and hard like glass, no snow yet, nor any cracks.
The rest of the day I spent mostly indoors. The company was fine,
but the building was awful – half-empty and full of windowless
hallways as long as a city block, so devoid of humanity that it
took hours to feel like myself again.
