Sleeping warm under a new comforter. We walked, and made Caesar
salad – lemon and garlic and greens – a good antidote to the damp,
gray chill. The clouds sank lower and lower all day – I felt like
I did as a child, reading by flashlight under the covers. Finally
a light drizzle came, soft, sad and comforting.
