Cool and cloudy, but still too bright – the clouds too thin -
for rain. Some leaves, especially their undersides, have taken
on an ashen look. In a better mood or better light I might say
it’s silvery, but the light is flat and gray, and I feel that way,
too. “Wan” is another word that comes to mind.
