I’m back in Reno, Nevada this week.

Darkness in the morning. It is easier now to get up before the sun. The sun lights up a pale morning sky over low clouds still black from the night.

At lunch, a mountain snow shower glows in the sun like a halo – a divine presence descending from the peaks, but never quite making it to the valley floor where we stand.
