on this day in…

Clouds and wind blew in just as quickly as they left this morning. No rain, though. Turtlenecks and fireplaces and the smell of woodsmoke in the air.

21:31:58 PM

Cloudy; Light Rain
9°C (48.2°F) An early morning drizzle clearing to crisp, beautiful sunshine.

It reminds me of early childhood autumns in New York. We would go to Bear Mountain Park
, and try to tip the giant rock; or into the city, to the American Museum of Natural History
, and eat giant pretzels and roasted chestnuts on the street (a cool head and a warm tummy… mmmmm… ahhhhh).
