-13°C (8.6°F) Even more than yesterday, the snow seems lit from within. Old footsteps broke through the crust and now shine like lava.
I think snow has a particular affinity for moonlight, both reflecting a light that isn’t theirs. Â

-15°C (5°F) The moon was almost full last night. I noticed because I thought I had left an outside light on, the glow from the snow was so bright. Trees were beautiful - each one a dark, delicate tracery of limbs echoed in soft gray filigree at its base.
I hope to get a digital camera soon (a late Christmas present to myself), so I can show you more of what I see. Â
